Forbidden outright
The following are forbidden on every plan, and a survey doing them will be suspended without notice:
- Phishing or impersonation — a survey pretending to be a bank, a government body, a telecom or any entity it is not.
- Collecting payment card numbers, CVVs or online banking credentials through a survey, on any plan.
- Collecting passwords or sign-in credentials for any service.
- Unlawful content, harassment, or surveys designed to deceive respondents about how their data will be used.
Restricted on the Free tier
National ID numbers, passport numbers and health data may not be collected on the Free tier. Collecting them requires a paid plan and a signed Data Processing Agreement, because a controller collecting that data has PDPL obligations the free tier is not designed to carry.
Enforcement
Jawab may unpublish a survey or suspend a workspace that violates this policy, immediately for the outright-forbidden category and with notice otherwise. Suspension locks access; it does not delete data, except where the content itself is unlawful to retain. An appeal path is available through support.
Reporting a survey
If you received a survey that looks deceptive or asks for data it should not, report it through our official channels. Reporting tooling on every public survey ships with the trust release; this policy is its legal basis.
The same channel handles copyright and trademark complaints: the Terms of Use set out the notice, review and counter-notice steps, and a workspace that repeatedly publishes infringing content is suspended under this policy.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman, with jurisdiction in the courts of Muscat. The Arabic text prevails.
