Answering surveys
When you respond to a survey, please answer honestly and only on your own behalf. You must not submit content that is unlawful, offensive, misleading, or that infringes someone else's rights, and you must only upload files you have the right to share.
Automated, scripted or bulk submissions are prohibited. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that responses come from real people; attempting to bypass this protection is a violation of these terms.
Staff accounts
Staff accounts are personal. Keep your sign-in credentials and passkeys safe and do not share them. Workspace administrators control roles and access, and Jawab may suspend accounts that misuse the platform or compromise its security.
Your content
You keep ownership of the answers and files you submit. By submitting them you grant Jawab the right to store, process and analyze them for the purposes of the survey and the programme it belongs to, as described in the Privacy Policy.
If a survey asks for your name, email address or phone number, we may use those details to contact you about that survey and its programme — and for nothing else. We will not send you marketing, and we will not pass your details to anyone outside Jawab. See the Privacy Policy for the full detail.
Usage analytics and product improvement
We measure how the signed-in dashboard is used — which pages are opened, and how often — and we use that measurement for one purpose only: to improve the platform. It is not used for advertising, not used to profile an individual, not sold, and not shared with anyone for their own use.
This measurement is limited to the dashboard and the sign-in pages. Public survey pages carry no analytics, so a respondent answering a survey is never measured in their browser. Survey content, contact details and uploaded files are never included in it. The privacy policy sets out exactly what is recorded and who processes it.
Availability and changes
The platform is provided "as is". We work to keep it available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access; surveys may be closed or unpublished at any time. We may update the platform or these terms — material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date on this page, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
User content and other people's rights
Surveys, questions, images and files on the platform are created by its users, not by Jawab. The workspace that publishes a survey is responsible for its content: for having the right to use what it uploads, for what the survey asks, and for how the collected data is used. Jawab does not review surveys before publication and, to the maximum extent permitted by law, is not liable for user-created content.
If you believe content on the platform infringes your copyright, trademark or other rights, send a notice through our official channels identifying the content (its address), the right you hold, and how to reach you. We review notices promptly, remove or disable content that a notice makes reasonably clear is infringing, and inform the workspace that published it — which may respond with a counter-notice. Workspaces that repeatedly publish infringing content are suspended under the Acceptable Use Policy.
Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jawab is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the platform.
Dispute resolution
If a dispute arises, write to us first: both sides commit to thirty days of good-faith negotiation before any formal step, because most disagreements are misunderstandings with an invoice attached. A dispute that survives negotiation is brought before the competent courts of Muscat, Sultanate of Oman.
Enterprise and government agreements may instead provide for binding arbitration seated in Muscat under Oman's Law of Arbitration in Civil and Commercial Disputes (Royal Decree 47/97), where the signed agreement says so. Nothing in this section limits rights that applicable consumer-protection law grants and does not allow to be waived.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Sultanate of Oman. They are written in Arabic and English; the Arabic text prevails.
