The brand colour

One setting recolours the entire product. Pick from seven brands — black (the default), purple, green, light blue, dark blue, orange and red — and the dashboard, the public surveys, the emails respondents receive, the charts and even the browser tab icon all shift with it.

• It is workspace-wide, not personal. Everyone on the team sees the same colour, and so does every respondent — which is exactly why only admins can change it.
• The change applies instantly, before the page even finishes saving.
• Every shade in the app — backgrounds, borders, text — is derived from the brand you pick, so the whole interface stays in harmony rather than looking like one recoloured button.
• All seven options are checked for readable contrast, so text stays legible whichever you choose.

On a paid plan you are not limited to the seven: Branding lets you set any colour you like, add your logo, and put your own address in front of your surveys. See your brand on your surveys.

The workspace time zone

Every date and time in the product — when a response arrived, when something happened in the activity log, when a scheduled survey opens — is shown in one time zone that the whole workspace shares.

It is a workspace setting rather than a personal one for a reason: two people discussing «the 9pm submission» have to mean the same moment. Admins change it in Settings → Time zone, and the current clock in the chosen zone is shown beside the picker so you can see at a glance whether it matches the one on your wall.

Preferences for this device

The rest of Settings is personal and stored on the device you are using — change it on your laptop and your phone keeps its own setting.
